The Beach House "Silver Waves" is one of the oldest on Indian Rocks Beach. It was built around 1928 for a prominent physician from Lakeland, Florida.

The house has been renovated three times since.

A second unit was added in 1979 and carefully refurbished in 2003, trying to keep the spirit and charm of the house as it was built more than 70 years ago.

Below you can see a photo of the house as it looks today. It is one of the last traditional beach houses in the area.
